Individuals applying to attend an EVOC Instructor course must meet the following requirements at the time of application and MUST provide proof with application:

• Current, active driver’s license (not suspended)
• Auto Insurance 
• Current EVOC certification, or equivalent as determined by the Alabama OEMS Rules 
• Two years (minimum) ambulance operator experience (a letter from your agency's training officer verifying experience will satisfy this requirement)

**In addition to the above requirements, BREMSS requires candidates to provide a letter of sponsorship from their service or agency recommending them for enrollment in the course as well as verifying their experience. This letter should be from a supervisor, training officer, or department head.
