The BREMSS AHA Community Training Center

The BREMSS AHA Community Training Center is an officially established Training Center authorized by the American Heart Association to conduct both Instructor and Provider Training Courses for ACLS, BLS, PALS, PEARS, and Heartsaver Courses for CPR, AED, and First Aid training.

BREMSS is one of the largest AHA Training Centers in Alabama with over 800 BLS Instructors, 150 ACLS Instructors, and 120 PALS Instructors in EMS agencies, hospitals, clinics, K-12 school systems, post-secondary schools, and public/private enterprises. Should you need an instructor led course we will be happy to match you with a qualified instructor. 


Heartcode Skills Testing

The American Heart Association offers eLearning and blended learning courses to provide complete, flexible training solutions. Students are able to complete online training at their own pace. Upon completion you may schedule an appointment with a BREMSS AHA instructor to complete the skills session.


Instructor Training 

Our focus in on training high quality instructors in all disciplines: ACLS, BLS, Heartsaver, PALS, and PEARS. We strive to provide the resources needed for our instructors to take this valuable training back to their communities and agencies. 


EMS Providers & Personnel

In order to support the BREMSS Mission, we offer “No Cost” AHA Certification Cards and Discounted Instructor Courses for BREMSS Region EMS Agencies and Personnel
